I also offer transcription services. I specialize in material for the financial sector, but I can provide transcription services for all technical, medical, legal (including material for presentation in court), academic, and any otherwise difficult-to-transcribe material. You can expect full confidentiality on all material transcribed (and I'm absolutely willing to sign any non-disclosure agreement you require), so you can rest assured that any sensitive information is in good hands.

I don't offer the least expensive transcription service available, but I guarantee superior service and performance. All transcriptions that I deliver will be:

—Accurate and free of errors: I always research any unknown terms encountered in any transcription project, and I have a broad knowledge base already...resulting in virtually no errors in your finished transcription
—On time: I will meet whatever deadline you have for your project, or advise you at the onset (or as soon as possible) of any deadline that I cannot meet
—Formatted exactly as per clients' specs: I will deliver the transcription in whatever format, and in whatever manner, that you choose (certain exclusions may apply, and certain requests may incur additional costs)
—Held in the strictest confidence: All materials that are sent to me will be kept private, and either returned to the client upon job completion (upon request, and at client's expense), or disposed of securely (and I'm happy to provide documentation/verification of secure data destruction, as well as sign any NDA or other privacy agreement you may have)

I am able to accept any audio or video file, in any format, for a transcription order; I have yet to find a file format that I cannot handle.

My transcription rates begin at $6.50 per recorded minute of material being transcribed (with all projects being rounded up to the nearest minute of the source material); some material can incur a higher rate, or additional costs, due to extenuating circumstances; please contact me and send me a sample of your material if you have any questions or concerns about your particular project. Payment will be due in full prior to receipt of the finished transcript.

Don't spend $2-3 per recorded minute of material for a transcription that you'll then have to spend 5-10 minutes for every recorded minute correcting...get it done right the first time. Once you've tried those bargain transcription services and you see what you're left with after you pay their bargain rates, then give me a try next time. You'll be impressed—I promise!
